A participatory workshop with Jeannie Hodder and Richard Chapman For people engaged in environmental work e.g. XRSB, SSB, Zero Carbon
At The Old School Centre, South Brent
Saturday 30 November 2019
10am – 4pm.
How can we communicate more effectively and skilfully about the things we feel most passionately about?
Richard and Jeannie invite you to this highly participatory workshop to explore this question using methods from the worlds of theatre and music improvisation. In the morning we will use these techniques to connect with, free up and explore our creativity and playfulness. In the afternoon our focus will be on how to apply the insights and practice of improvisation to the conversations we have in our work for the environment.
During this workshop you can expect to:
- connect with and explore your own unique creativity and have fun;
- learn new skills and ways to communicate more effectively and with more confidence, about the things you feel most passionately about;
- engage with like-minded people wanting to explore creative approaches and responses to the environmental and ecological crisis we all face.
Donations will be requested on the day to help cover costs.
