Friendly guided bike ride to meet (and hopefully picnic with) residents at Hannahs School at Ivybridge - a great way to gain confidence in cycling and meet new people in our area.  Hannahs at Ivybridge is home to a School, Respite Centre, Community Hub, Children’s Home and Hannahwood – an innovative transition project for older students. The ride is open to everyone but you need to be reasonably fit and be prepared for changeable weather. Please pre-book 24 hours beforehand - see:

Evening guided bike ride to Cornwood. Join us on a guided evening bike ride led by Sustrans volunteer guides to discover some of Devon’s rural roads and enjoy everything this beautiful countryside has to offer. Meet at the Watermark Centre, Leonard's Road, Ivybridge, PL21 0SZ at 6:30pm. The circular ride of 14 miles will take two hours and includes a coffee stop. We will be following National Cycle Network Routes 2 and 272, mainly on quiet lanes and dedicated paths following the scenic Dartmoor Way to Cornwood where we stop for refreshments. We carry on to Smithaleigh along lanes overlooked by the National Park. We'll discover secret river valleys, ancient woodlands and cycle through little villages. The hedgerows will be coming alive with wild flowers too which makes for a spectacular view. This ride is of moderate difficulty. Rides are open to anyone but you need to be reasonably fit and be prepared for changeable weather. See:

South Brent Community Radio has been going strong since 2013!

There’s still time to join in with the next Community Radio broadcast, so please get in touch - all ideas are welcome.

Check out the Facebook page to get an idea of the breadth and depth of previous broadcasts.

If you know you can’t listen live you need not miss a thing as all programmes are available online.

Here are a couple of pictures from the archive. Including a lovely one of Angie Vennells listening-in to a broadcast in 2015, and Alisdair the sound artist performing live.
