The Marsh composting site will reopen from 7 June on Sunday mornings from 10am-1pm. However, in order to maintain social distancing and ensure the safety of customers and volunteers, twelve 15-minute time slots will be arranged, with 3 tickets available for each slot. Tickets are available free of charge from The Village Shop each week from Wednesday to Sunday. You must obtain a ticket and show it to the volunteer before you will be permitted to drive down onto the site. NB. 1 ticket = 1 vehicle = 1 visit – you must arrive, unload your garden waste, load any bags of compost; and depart within your 15 minute time slot (limited help will be available from volunteers). Full details of the new arrangements can be seen at: www.sustainablesouthbrent.org.uk/projects/the-marsh-community-compost-and-re-use-centre/
NB these arrangement will apply to cars only – if you bring your waste by hand you don’t need a ticket.
From Sunday 5 July, tickets will not be required, but the three vehicle maximum continues to apply
