Shipley Weekend – Are you able to come along to help the Archaeologists and Dartmoor National Park Rangers at Shipley Bridge, South Brent? – Grid Ref: SX 680 629
On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September 2018 from 10am until 3pm each day.
Dartmoor National Park Rangers and volunteers will be clearing vegetation to discover the old china clay and naptha workings near the car park, together with having a tidy up of any rubbish, looking after the paths, and also inviting volunteers on an guided walk looking at Archaeological features in the area.

· Friends and Families welcome (children 16 years and under must accompanied by an adult at all times)
· All hand tools (bowsaws and loppers) and gloves provided, together with light refreshments
· Please dress for Dartmoor weather with sturdy boots, and bring a packed lunch and drink
· Please car share where possible if you know any of your friends are coming
